For GTD desco rig commissioning is much more than simply ensuring the delivered rig passes all the rigorous pre delivery inspections and operational function tests to ‘hand-over’ the equipment to a customer. We actually spend quality time drilling with them, sharing real-world knowledge of how to maximise productivity with these specific rigs. Our approach is through collaboration with their drill crew, to understand their particular ways-of-working, dialling in auxiliary equipment, and working together to optimize the drilling efficiencies to drill down faster and safer.
